3. Counter-Notification

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

First Day Shows reserves the right to terminate access for users who are deemed to be “repeat infringers.” We define a repeat infringer as any user who has been notified of infringing activity more than twice and/or has had user-submitted content removed from our website more than twice.

5. Note on Fair Use

Please note that First Day Shows is a movie review and criticism platform. Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act, “fair use” allows the use of copyrighted material for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, and research. We often use movie stills or short trailer clips for the purpose of transformative commentary and review.
